13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Susann Sanchez conducted an unannounced complaint inspection for the purpose of delivering the findings and interview staff for the above allegations. LPA met with Owner/ Director Carina Rivas who guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. During the time of the inspection, there was a total three infants with one staff member. Two more staff members arrived 30 minutes later.
During the course of the investigation, LPA Sanchez conducted interviews with the Owner/Director, day-care staff, and parents. Children present were not available for interview, due to them being non-verbal.
Allegation #1, Complainant alleged she/he thinks a child might have left the facility, due to socks being dirty and a thorn found on the child. Based on statements made by parents, staff interviewed, LPA's observations, complainant uncertainty, the LPA is unable to determine whether the allegation actually occurred.
