25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tiffanie Tran arrived at the above facility to conduct an annual required inspection LPA met with licensee and her employee and toured areas of the home. LPA observed 8 children napping, an infant, and two school age children were playing in the yard with the inflatable water slide pool. Per licensee one school age child belongs to her. LPA observed proper care and supervision for napping and water activity. All adults have fingerprinted cleared and associated to the licensed facility. LPA observed proper care and supervision of children and ratios.
This is a single dwelling home consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, dinning room, living room, and the back room next to the garage. Child care conducted in room with permit and proper ventilation. Children do have access to one bathroom. The rest of the areas in the home are off-limits to children. Licensee acknowledged that children may never enter these off-limit areas. Per licensee, children play in the backyard. LPA observed to be fenced in, safe and clean. LPA observed a inflatable slide pool in the backyard. LPA advised 100 % supervision is required during water activity in addition all water shall be empty out after each use. Also a trampoline observed in the backyard, per licensee, trampoline is not in use due to missing netting coverage. LPA advised adult supervision is required when utilizing the trampoline.
LPA observed all posting requirements by the entrance. Licensee unable to show proof of current CPR/First Aid certificates, fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide and smoke detector meet regulations. Cleaning materials and medications are inaccessible, there is a working telephone, and toys appear to be safe. Licensee stated there are no fire arms in the home. LPA two dogs in the yard. The home conducted emergency disaster drill on a monthly basis. LPA reviewed children's record to be complete and orderly. Licensee and her employee both had not completed the mandated report online training for child abuse.
