32 | LPA observed the toddler to have a designated restroom space. There is a barrier gate located near the entrance of the restroom to prevent preschooler from crossing over. Per Director, children will be escorted by staff at all times to and from the restroom. There are four toilets and four sinks available. There is also a changing table located within arms reach of a sink. All toilets and hand washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions.
At 11: 45 AM, Licensing staff was guided through the designated outdoor toddler space. Per Director, the proposed outdoor toddler space will be the fenced sandbox area and the bike track area. The outdoor toddler space was observed to be physically separate by a four foot fencing from the preschool designated areas. There is adequate shade in the outdoor play area. The outdoor play equipment was observed to be in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Outdoor activity space surface is maintained in a safe condition as is free of hazards.
During this inspection, LPA obtained measurements for the proposed toddler classroom and designated toddler outdoor space. Based on those measurements obtained, capacity for the toddler program will be twelve (12) toddlers, and the preschool capacity will be reduced to thirty- five (35) preschoolers.
At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Title 22 Regulations. Therefore, there are no citations being issued today.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Lusine Martirosyan and Danielle Hajjar.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
