13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), T. Tran arrived at the above licensed facility to conduct an unannounced subsequent complaint inspection for the purpose of concluding the investigation of the above allegation. Upon arrival, LPA met with licensees, Mariana Rodriguez and Rebeca Rodriguez.
LPA completed children's file review. LPA conducted interviews with children and licensees.
Based upon the evidence obtained during the course of the investigation through interviews, record reviews, and observation, the daycare is utilizing the low feeding chairs for infant and toddler children during mealtime. Licensee stated, they also use the low feeding chairs to support children transition to regular chair when needed. Therefore, the evidence does not support, nor disprove the above allegation of licensee placed an infant on a low feeding chair for an excessive period as a form of discipline have been determined unsubstantiated. Unsubstantiated – A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.
No deficiency was cited at this time. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative, Mariana Rodriguez.
