25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ariel Cazares conducted a case management inspection on this date for the purpose of addressing a request for a capacity increase. Upon arrival LPA met with Director Stephanie McReynolds and toured the facility. There were 43 children present and 6 additional staff. Licensee Rajeev Nandakumaran arrived shortly after.
LPA inspected the facility indoors and outdoors. LPA measured 4 classrooms and an added outdoor space. An additional restroom was made available that consists of 1 toilet, 1 urinal, and 1 sink. LPA observed no violations or hazards that required correction. There is a fire clearance that was granted for 68 children.
Based on the measurements indoors (68 capacity) and added outdoor space (19 capacity), the added toilet/sink (15 capacity), and fire clearance (68 capacity) the facility can be granted for a capacity of 68 children. The current outdoor staggered schedule that has an approved waiver must be maintained to meet the capacity requested. The facility is currently in compliance with the Department's regulations.
Exit interview conducted with Licensee Rajeev Nandakumaran. A copy of this report was provided. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. |
