32 | LPA observed two (2) toilets and two (2) sinks with an attached water fountain to each sink. Staff names were recorded. Teacher-child ratios were observed to be in accordance with Title 22 Regulations. Staff names were recorded. Licensed facility is within the conditions, limitations, and capacity specified on the license.
Classrooms were inspected to ensure that the floors have a surface that is safe and clean. All materials and surfaces accessible to children are toxic free. Napping equipment such as cots, mats and bedding were inspected for good condition, appropriate storage, and cleanliness. Storage for children's belongings was inspected, and all have labeled cubbies with their personal belongings.
Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide were not tested during this visit due to the detectors being wired to the emergency pull down fire alarm system. LPA observed a fully charged and serviced fire extinguisher. The fire extinguisher was last serviced on 09/26/25, and service tag was attached. Emergency disaster drill was last conducted on 11/18/25. Facility Representative states there are no weapons/firearms, or bodies of water on the premises. LPA did not observe weapons/firearms or bodies of water during today’s inspection. First aid kits are kept in the front office, and each classroom has first aid supplies as well. Heating, lighting, and ventilation were evaluated by LPA. LPA observed central AC/heater and vents located on the ceiling.
The facility offers breakfast, lunch, and two (2) PM snacks. Lunches/hot meals are provided by an outside vendor, Renu Hope Foundation. Per Director, the food is picked up daily at around 11:15am and distributed to children at 12pm. Food preparation area was toured for safety, cleanliness, and proper equipment. LPA inspected refrigerator for cleanliness and temperature check. Items in the refrigerator were observed to have expiration dates. Facility also has a pantry where snacks are kept. The kitchen and pantry were observed to be clean, and the cleaning compounds/solutions were found to be stored away from the food. Menus were reviewed to ensure that they are being posted at least one week in advance and visible to an authorized representative.
All storage containers for solid waste, including movable bins shall have tight-fitting covers that are kept on, and in good repair. LPA observed that all trash cans used to discard food have tight fitting lids. Drinking water is readily available both indoors and outdoors. The facility was observed to be free of flies, other insects, and rodents.
