25 | On December 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced inspection at the facility noted above and met with Licensee, Andrea Santos. The purpose of the inspection was to conduct a Plan of Correction (POC) inspection for the citations that were cited on November 16, 2022. At the time of the inspection, Licensee, Licensee's Adult Daughter/Assistant (S1), Licensee's Assistant/Staff (S2), and 10 children were present.
During the inspection, LPA conducted a walk through of the inside and outside of the facility accompanied by the Licensee. LPA observed that the prohibited items (infant bouncers and infant walkers) were permanently removed from the inside of the detached garage and were no longer available at the facility. Per Licensee, children now take their naps inside the house in the living room and are no longer napping inside the detached garage. LPA observed the cots still stored in the garage. Licensee stated that the cots are only stored in the garaged due to space, but are moved into the house for nap time.
Licensee stated that the Preventative Health and Safety Practices training for the pending POC is scheduled to be completed later this evening. Licensee will submit the certificate of completions to LPA via e-mail once received. During the inspection, LPA also provided technical assistance on the process for applying for a child care center.
LPA cleared the pending POCs that required a follow-up inspection and issued the POC Letters to the Licensee during the inspection.
No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Andrea Santos. |
