25 | At 8:35 am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saul Valenzuela conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility. LPAs met with Licensee, Yuye Liang, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Licensee is primarily Cantonese speaking. Licensee’s husband was also present and available to translate for LPAs and Licensee when needed. Per Licensee, there are 12 children currently enrolled. There were 2 children present upon arrival. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that two adults and no children currently live in the home. Per Licensee, there is two assistants in the facility. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, front patio and backyard (fenced), and detached garage. Daycare areas: bathroom located in the hallway, living room, dining room, one bedroom, and backyard for outdoor play. Per Licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: two-bedroom, one master bathroom (located in Licensee's bedroom), kitchen, detached garage, half of the back yard (fenced).
Licensee guided analyst on a tour of the facility. During this visit, all areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were toured and inspected and the following was observed.
