Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Jennifer Hua & Jose Guzman conducted an annual inspection. Upon arrival, LPAs met with teacher Brianna Corley. LPAs was informed that director is on her way. Director Karyn Preston-Fuller arrived shortly and took LPAs on a tour of the facility. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 6:00PM. There is also a licensed preschool program on site.

The Infant Program which consists of 2 class rooms (I-3A, and I-3B). I-2 is the napping room. Parents enter through the gate off the over flow parking lot of the church, but directly in front of the school.

All areas identified on the facility sketch were toured both indoors and outdoors. Play equipment, furniture and restrooms were inspected for age appropriateness. Toilets and hand washing areas were observed to be safe, sanitary and are operating properly. All floors were observed to be clean and safe. Diaper changing area observed to have diaper changing table, trash can with tight fitting lid for soiled diapers.

Containers used to discard food have tight fitting lids. Cleaning compounds are inaccessible and there are no poisons on the premises. Children enrolled in this program have their own personal storage space.

This program does not provide food. Per licensee, parents bring all the food for the infant program

LPA observed one Infant bathroom located inside between infant class room I-3A and I-3B with two (2) toilets and two (2) sinks. A changing table was observed that is movable and within arms reach of a sink.
Posting requirements observed. Sign In/out reviewed and observed all children were signed in at the time of inspection.

Staff and children records were reviewed for completeness including but not limited to Criminal Record Clearances for adults, Director Qualifications and verification of CPR/First Aid and health preventive practices documentation. Review of required forms was made. All staff have completed the Mandated Reporter Training on department website at http://www.mandatedreporterca.com/ Certificates in file.

A review of all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks was conducted on this date to determine if they have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions and/or have provided proof of submission of finger prints to DOJ, FBI and CAIC.

The facility provides Incidental Medical Services - IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children's, personnel, and administrative records. After a complete inspection of the facility, deficiencies cited on attached 809D.

An exit interview was conducted with director Karyn Preston-Fuller, copy of report given. Appeals rights provided and explained.

Notice of Site Visit posted. This notice must be posted for 30 days. A civil penalty of $100 will be assessed if removed prior to 30 days.
