Information from complainant indicates that children are not hydrated enough when they are playing outside in hot weather. Complainant states that the children are too young to know when to go and drink water.
Director states staff have children take breaks and sit down to drink water.
Children were unable to be interviewed during course of investigation as they are nonverbal age.
Parents interviewed made no disclosures of the above allegations.
Staff interviewed state that children are able to get water on their own outside. Children get reminded by staff to drink water.
Interviews with adults related to allegations made no disclosures.
Based upon the evidence as presented above, this agency has investigated the allegation above and has determined that the allegation is Unsubstantiated. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.

Exit interview was conducted with Director David Van Iwaarden, at 9:20am, including, but not limited to Provider Rights, Appeal Procedures and Agency’s Consultative Role.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
