An unannounced Annual Random Inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) A. Lucero. LPA met with licensee Candelaria Lopez who guided LPA on a tour of the facility of both indoor and outdoors. This is a single story, three bedroom, two bathroom home. Per licensee, currently residing in the home are three adults (Licensee, spouse, adult child) and one minor. Present at the time of inspection was licensee's husband and assistant who were providing care and supervision to children.
Areas accessible to children were inspected as follows: Living room, kitchen, dining area, hallway, mater bedroom with bathroom dedicated to day care purposes and back yard.
Areas off limits include: Two bedrooms, one bathroom, detached garage, swimming pool, front yard.
Licensee states that there are no weapons or firearms on the premises. LPA observed a swimming pool on the premises with a mesh fence and a gate that swings away from the pool and self latches when closed. The backyard is adequately fenced. There are age appropriate toys and equipment on the premises. The smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are present in the facility and in operable condition. Fire extinguisher is present in the home.
