Follow up Prelicensing Tele Inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Alanna Gontarek. LPA met with applicant, Hye Joung. Due to COVID-19 preventative measures, LPA was given a virtual tour of the indoors and outdoors of facility. LPA observed all staff and children wearing face masks during tele visit. The purpose of the follow up tele inspection was to ensure all corrections noted on licensing report dated 3/02/2021 were completed.

LPA received Criminal Background Clearance Transfer and copy of Driver’s License for: Amy Kim.
LPA observed labeled drawers in the staff lounge refrigerator, designating specific areas used by staff and/or children

LPA observed shade in the Infant outdoor playground with an "Easy-Up"/ tarp.
LPA observed a functioning carbon monoxide detector. Applicant tested detector, and are functioning properly.

LPA observed a labeled Emergency Supply bin with emergency supplies located inside, and an Emergency backpack on back shelf of classroom.
LPA observed a 4-foot moveable partition, secured to the wall, separating the Infant nap area from the indoor activity area.
LPA observed labeled cubbies for children’s belongings.

LPA advised applicant to keep side gate, leading out to the street, locked and closed. LPA also advised applicant to post a sign stating to keep door locked and closed, along with an "Emergency Exit" sign above gate. LPA advised installing a sounding alarm when gate/doors are opened.

Based on observations today, the measured activity space during the inspection dated 3/9/2021, the approved fire clearance , and the number of sinks and toilets available to children, the capacity came out to be 15 children. The Infant program is ready to be licensed.

An exit interview was conducted with applicant Hye Joung, via telephone. A copy of this report (LIC 9099) and Appeal Rights were discussed, provided, and scanned via email to the licensee, who understands that an electronic “Read Receipt” and/or confirmation of receipt of the e-mail confirms receipt of the report constituting as an electronic signature.
