Due to COVID-19 precautions, this inspection was conducted by tele-visit using Face Time Application

Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Alicia Mooberry and Armando Lucero conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection to inspect and measure the facility's proposed school age classrooms and outside play area. LPAs met with Director Bridgette Robinson who gave a tour of the facility. The Licensee is requesting capacity of 50 school age children. There is currently a Licensed Preschool Program (198020118) and a Licensed Infant Program (198020117) on site.

The proposed school age program is currently composed of two classrooms, Room #16 and #17 that are physically separate from the preschool and infant programs. LPAs observed classrooms completely empty. Per Director, classrooms are currently undergoing repairs, including installation of floors, furniture and educational materials. LPAs observed two bathrooms, one for boys and one for girls located outside the classrooms. The outdoor play area consists of a grassy area with no shading. Per Director, all repairs and furnishings will be completed by August 7, 2020. LPAs will schedule another inspection when all necessary repairs are completed.

Fire Inspection: An approved fire clearance dated 02/06/2020 received 7/28/2020 approved for 50 total school age children.

Based on LPAs observations, the facility will be required to complete the following before being recommended for licensing:

1. Complete outdoor space fence installation.

2. Boy’s bathroom repairs.
3. Installation of flooring/carpeting for classrooms #16, #17 as well as furniture and furnishings.
4. Provide shade and water on outside play area

Exit interview was conducted with Licensee, via tele-inspection, during which appeal rights were explained. This report along with a copy of the appeal rights will be sent to the Applicant via email with a read receipt or confirmation of receipt of email, which will act as the Applicants signature.
