25 | On 4/7/22, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brannon conducted an announced case management inspection on this date. LPA met with Center Director, Lina Bororquez. The purpose of this inspection was to measure the two infant outside play yards, due to the licensed outside play yard changes and the installation of new play structures in both infant yards.
Approximate outside measurement is 6314 square feet, which will accommodate licensed facility's capacity of 24 infants. Infant play yard #1 has new structures that are beige with green. The age appropriate sticker states 6 to 23 months on structure. Facility is utilizing rubber pour as cushioning. There is an infant swing structure with wood chip for cushioning. There are three permanent shade structures with cushioning on metal poles. There is a locked shed used for storage.
Infant play yard #2 has new structures that are mainly green. LPA observed age appropriate sticker that states 6 to 23 months on structure. Licensee is utilizing rubber pour as cushioning. In this play yard, licensee is utilizing mature trees to provide shade. In the tree area, licensee has installed fake turf.
Staff will ensure that no commingling and to prevent accidental injuries, to take place when preschool children are present when infants cross the preschool yard to enter infant play yard #1, and when preschool cross infant play yard #2 to enter preschool play yard.
Per staff, an igloo with fresh drinking water, cup dispenser and disposable cups provide uncontaminated drinking water to children in care while outside on the play yard. There are no children present during today's inspection. Facility's session starts on Monday, April 11, 2022.
Per Title 22, Division 12, of the California Code of Regulations, no citation is issued. Exit interview conducted with Lina Bojorquez, Center Director. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. Notice of Site Visit was provided and required to be posted for 30 days. |
