Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Juvenal Moctezuma and LPM Diana De Leon conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection and met with Director, Rachel Garcia. LPA explained the reason of the inspection and tour of the center was conducted both inside and outside. This preschool operates in classrooms 1, 2, 3, and 4. Classrooms 1 and 2 operate from August to June and have AM and PM sessions from 08:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM to 03:00 PM. Classrooms 3 and 4 operate year round, full days.

All 4 classrooms were observed to be clean and free of toxins during the inspection. LPA observed plenty of age appropriate toys inside each classroom, books, coloring materials, and small tables and chairs. Furniture, toys and equipment were observed to be clean and in good repair. LPA observed areas were observed to be free of hazards. There is water available both inside and outside. Menus are posted inside each classroom. Rachel stated there are no guns/weapons at the center. LPAs did not observe any bodies of water on the property. All food is prepared on site in the kitchen located in the church portion of this site. Full day children receive breakfast, AM snack, lunch, and PM snack. The morning children receive breakfast and AM snack; afternoon children receive lunch and a PM snack. All food is served in the classroom and left over food is discarded immediately. Solid waste storage vessels, including moveable bins, have tight-fitting covers on, are in good repair.

The center does provide IMS. The medication is stored inside the licensees office that's made inaccessible to children in care. At least one teacher is current with their CPR/FIRST AID, which is good until 02/09/2021. Parent Sign in / sign out sheet was reviewed. LPA reminded licensee to review the sign in and sign out sheet everyday and make sure parents are signing their children in every day. A sampling of children's files were reviewed and everything was complete and up to date. During the review of Staff Files and interviewing Rachel, it was found that 7 teachers did not have proof of the immunization requirements.
