25 | On March 12, 2020, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was Spanish-speaking licensee and six day care children who were all sitting in the dining room table while licensee was prepping their lunch. Licensee, her husband, her two adult daughters and one minor child reside in the home. Verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through Pediatric Plus with EMSA certified stickers and expires on 8/18/2020. Licensee’s Assistant, Jennifer Rivera CPR and First Aid was completed through Pediatric Plus with EMSA certified stickers and expires on 2/1/2022. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance or exemption. Fire clearance was granted on March 4, 2020.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on March 4, 2020. Fire pull alarm is located the wall in the family room (day care room).
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys, books, an infant swing, a crib, two play yards and a diaper changing table for the children.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
