25 | On March 5, 2020, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee, licensee’s husband, licensee's adult daughter who will be her assistant, her adult son, her minor granddaughter and six day care children. Licensee, her husband, her adult son, her adult daughter and one minor child reside in the home. Verified licensee and licensee’s assistant’s CPR and First Aid completed through EMS Safety with EMSA certified stickers are expires on 2/6/21. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children are background cleared. Fire clearance was granted on March 4, 2020.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on March 4, 2020. Licensee states that fire inspector did not require for her to install a fire alarm.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books in the living room. Also observed a high chair and a play yard in the dining room/family room area.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
