13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Farhan Bashir-Tariq conducted a subsequent complaint investigation inspection today and spoke to Director, Ruth Ann Newberry. This visit was carried out via phone call due to COVID-19. Purpose of inspection was explained and was to interview director regarding the allegations and deliver the findings of this complaint investigation. This was a follow up visit from previous visit of 3/11/20. On 3/11/20, LPA visited the preschool and interviewed members of staff.
As part of this investigation , LPA collected facility roster, teachers schedule, contact details of the parents and school's discipline policy. From the interviews that were conducted and the information collected during the investigation, LPA did not receive enough evidence to support the allegations above.
This agency has investigated the complaint alleging that child sustain injury due to lack of supervision while in day care and unsafe items on the playground . Based on the information obtained, although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. This report must be available in the facility for public review.
