Regarding he allegation of staff bribes day care children. Based on interviews with the director, staff and children, LPA is unable to determine if staff bribes the day care children. Facility policy regarding intervention is to use positive reinforcement and respectful language when assisting the daycare children.
Regarding the allegation of staff licked day care child. Based on the interviews conducted with director, staff, children and observations performed, LPA is unable to determine if facility staff licked day care child. During inspections, LPA observed professional interactions between the facility staff and daycare children.
Regarding the allegation of staff do not treat day care children equally. Based on the interviews conducted and observations of the staff -child interactions, LPA is unable to determine if staff do not treat day care children equally. Staff stated, facility personnel make sure all children are treated equally and are attune to each child's individual needs.
Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. Copy of this report is reviewed and provided to the director. No deficiencies are cited.
Exit interview was conducted with assistant director, Alexis Graziose. LPA observed notice of site visit was posted in the facility.
