Based on LPA interviews and record reviews, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegations are founded to be substantiated.
Because the facility did not properly isolate a sick child, it will receive a Type-B violation for its failure to comply with the child care regulation.
The LPA has informed the director that a Plan of Correction would be provided for all Type B violations. This Plan of Correction will enable the director to correct the violation.
During the visit, the director corrected the deficiency by having a prepared statement and discussion with staff regarding the facility's failure to properly isolate a sick kid.
A Copy of Letter of Deficiency Citations was given to the licensee.
Appeal rights was discussed with the director
“The Notice of Site Visit” shall be posted for 30 days.
Failure to maintain postings as required, will result in an immediate $100 civil penalty.
