Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mok conducted an unannounced increased inspection today. LPA met with the Site Directors, Angela Barrentos and Pam Decker. The purpose of the inspection was explained to them. There were 144 children with 16 staff present. The facility was within the staff and children's ratio during the inspection. The facility is a combination center. It has Preschool and Infant programs. The operation hours are Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The Preschool program is run in the classrooms (PINK, BLUE, LAVENDER, ORANGE, GREEN, PREK-1, PREK-2, AND PREK-3). LPA toured and inspected the facility for health and safety hazard, The facility was clean and in order. Temperature and lighting in the classrooms were adequate. All toxins and harmful objects were either locked or made inaccessible to the children.
The right amount of cubbies with children's name were available for the children to store their own belongings in each classroom. Children bring their own lunch to school daily. The facility has a small fish tank with tide lid in one of the classrooms, and a big fish tank with tide lid in the lobby, There were 3 outdoor yards available for children.
