Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Farhan Bashir-Tariq and Simran Kaur arrived at the facility above unannounced to conduct a Plan of Correction inspection and met with the Licensee, Bruna Lima and Husband, Gino Gorrichategui. Purpose of the inspection was explained. Present there were 6 children in care with Licensee and Husband. LPAs verified the background check clearance of the adults working or living in the home. Name of the day care is 'Caring and Sharing Day Care'.

During the investigation of a complaint on 11/20/19, LPAs observed that Licensee was operating out of ratio and over capacity. Licensee was cited for the deficiency on the day. LPAs arrived at the facility today at 8:20 am. and observed that license is operating within the required capacity and ratio limits. There were three children (2 infants and 1 preschool age) present at the time of arrival. Three preschoolers were dropped off later on during the inspection.

Per Licensee, she made the schedule changes to be complying and staying within the required ratio limits. Licensee made changes to the times and days of the children attending the day care. Parents were also informed and agreed upon the changes. Parents of the children enrolled at the day care were also informed about the deficiency cited previously. LPA reviewed the signed copies of form LIC 9224 stored in each child’s file. Three of the children listed on children’s roster that LPAs collected previously were not attending the day care anymore. Deficiency cited on 11/20/19, will be considered cleared and corrected as of today. LPAs collected an updated schedule and a written statement from licensee stating the schedule changes to the children in care. Letter of correction was also printed, and a copy was handed to Licensee.

>NO deficiencies were cited today under Title 22 Division 12 of the California Code of Regulations.
This report and rights to comment and appeal were discussed with Licensee. This report must be available in the facility for public review. Notice of site visit shall be posted for 30 days from today's visit. Licensee was advised for any additional questions to call Office, M-F, 8AM-5PM at 650-266-8800.
