25 | Prior to today's inspection, LPA telephoned call licensee and conducted the COVID-19 Emergency Response Tele-Inspection Screening Process. On April 2, 2020, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Licensee, her husband and three minor children reside in the home. Verified licensee’s and Licensee’s Assistant’s, Emily Estrada CPR and First Aid was completed through EMS Safety with Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) certified stickers and expires on 3/16/2021. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance or exemption. Fire clearance was granted on March 19, 2020.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on March 26, 2020. Fire alarm is located in the kitchen wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture, children's cubbies, safe toys, books and instructional materials for the day care children. There are two high chairs in the dining room. Also observed a flat screen television mounted onto the wall.
- LPA observed a firearm stored in accordance with Title 22 Regulations and ammunition stored separate in accordance with Title 22 Regulations..
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
