32 | Room measurements were taken and reviewed with Danielle. The total inside Infant area measured to an approximate 1,147 square feet which will accommodate the infant capacity of 18. Danielle stated that they are only going to be caring for 8 infants in classroom 131 since the other 2 infant classrooms are being used by staff as a staff lounge room. Danielle stated that they will go back to normal once covid restrictions end. LPA observed 3 cribs in classroom 131. There's a bathroom in between classroom 131 & 132 which will be shared with the toddler component. One changing table will be strictly for the temporary infant classroom & one changing table for the toddler component. The sink is in between both changing tables is within arms reach. Danielle stated that children use their own water bottles both indoors and outdoors.
The playground has a fence that goes all around. There is a shed for storage which is locked. LPA observed plenty of age appropriate toys, a bike path for children to play, grass, and patio cover that provides shade. Staff will take the infants to their own play area which has not changed.
