25 | On 3/12/2020 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Joseph Pacheco, conducted an unannounced annual inspection. LPA met with Acting Supervisor, Tania Perez and a tour of the facility was conducted inside and outside. No children were present during today’s inspection. The facility will begin providing care for children on 4/22/2020. The following areas were in compliance during today’s inspection: There are no bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition allowed on the premises. Disinfectants, hazardous items and medications are inaccessible to children. No poisons were observed during today’s inspection. Furniture and equipment are sufficient, age appropriate and in good repair. The playground equipment and outdoor activity space is maintained and in good condition with adequate cushioning material. Children's toilets, hand washing facilities are sanitary. Rooms are safe and clean. Food preparation area is clean, food and beverages are stored in covered containers at 45 degrees F or less if required, and storage containers for solid waste are covered. Drinking water is available both indoors and outside. Measures are taken to keep facility free of insects and rodents. Staff subject to a criminal record clearance or exemption are associated to the facility. No excluded individuals are present. Teacher-child ratios are maintained. First Aid/CPR credentials were reviewed and are current. Children’s records were reviewed to ensure proper forms are located within each child’s file. Staff records contain documentation of education, training, and/or experience. Menus are posted. Infant changing tables have padded surface no less than one inch thick, covered with washable vinyl, and raised sides at least 3 inches high. Toys are safe and do not have sharp points, edges or splinters, or made of small parts that can be pulled off. There is sufficient infant napping equipment. The infant indoor and outdoor activity space is physically separate from the space used by other day care children. Staff utilized as infant teachers have three child development units in infant/toddler care.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm. This facility is closed from December 1st through February 28th.
