25 | LPA Galvan made a case management visit to this facility to inquire about the high number of Covid-19 incidents reported in the 2021-2022 school year.
LPA met with Sandra Lee, Preschool Coordinator; to Sandra's knowledge the positive cases have been resolved from the 2021-2022 school year, there were no hospitalizations or deaths reported for any of the students in care. LPA discussed the current school years Covid-19 protocol for this facility. Judy Xiong the program secretary will be notified and the main point of contact for any Covid-19 incidents. LPA Galvan will speak with her and report findings as well. During todays visit a number of cases reported were updated.
They are continuing to disinfect and sanitize. The facility has a Covid tree where instructions are given for staff and children when symptoms are present stating what they should do. At-home Covid-19 tests are available on site and are offered to students and family members who need or request to test at home. This facility is currently following Department of Public Health and school district guidelines to have masks be optional. Masks are available for staff and students who wish to use them.
Currently, students are instructed to quarantine at home for 5 days if they test positive and/or have symptoms. On the 6th day if no symptoms and/or illness they are allowed to return with a negative test. Siblings of children who test positive are allowed to come to school if they are without symptoms. The facility offers at-home tests for any who request them. Staff is reminded to always contact CCL office to report any incident of Covid-19 positive within 24 hours and submit LIC624 Unusual Incident Report within 7 days. |
