25 | On 03/28/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Robert Gutierrez, conducted an unannounced case management - incident inspection. LPA was met by Licensee, Jessica Ortiz. The purpose of todays inspection was to follow up on an incident reported to the Community Care Licensing (CCL) office on 03/14/2022. Speaking with the licensee it was determined on 03/12/2022 law enforcement was dispatched to the residence and an individual residing at the facility was taken into police custody. Since being taken into police custody, this individual has not returned back to the residence. No day care children were present when the incident occurred. The licensee then stated this individual has been staying 3-4 nights of the week since January 2022.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, the following deficiency is being cited: (see next page, 809 D) Licensee was provided a copy of appeal rights.
Upon receipt of a Type A violation, licensee shall post and provide copies of this licensing report to parents/guardians of children in care at the facility and to parents/guardians of children newly enrolled at the facility during the next 12 months. A copy of the Fact Sheet - Child Care Parent Notification Requirements and a copy of LIC 9224 was given to licensee.
