25 | On October 24, 2020, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection, Licensee, her husband and one adult son who reside in the home. Verified licensee CPR and First Aid was completed through Pediatric Plus with Emergency Medical Services Authority stickers (EMSA) and expires on August 24, 2021. Licensee’s Assistant, Teresa Oseguera has not completed CPR and First Aid. Licensee states that her assistant will not be caring/ supervising or transporting children without her supervision. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on September 16, 2020.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on October 9, 2020. Fire alarm is located on the home’s entry way on the left hand side wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys, books and instructional materials for the day care children. There are two cribs in the day care room. There is a parent’s board that is located on the right hand side wall of the home’s entry way.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
