25 | On September 5, 2020, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection, Licensee and Licensee's Assistant, Susana Vejar Delgado. Licensee is the only adult that resides in the home. Verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through American Health Care Academy and expires on 6/2/2022. Licensee’s Assistant completed the training through American Health Care Academy and expires on 5/13/2022. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance or exemption. Fire clearance was granted on August 13, 2020.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
Fire clearance was received on September 2, 2020. Fire alarm is located on the wall by the front door entrance.
- LPA observed children size furniture, manipulatives, safe toys, and books for the day care children. Children will nap in the bedroom #1 on cots. Bedroom #1 has a changing table, two toddler beds, a play pen and a high chair. Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
- Licensee is advised at least one staff member with current training in pediatric first aid and pediatric CPR is to be on site at all times children are present.
