25 | On June 18, 2020, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee and eight day care children. Facility has a Blanket Waiver on file. Licensee and two minor children reside in the home. Verified licensee completed CPR and First Aid through Pediatric Plus with Emergency Medical Services Authority stickers (EMSA and expires on February 8, 2022. Licensee’s assistant will be her 14 year old son. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance or exemption. Fire clearance was granted on June 12, 2020.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on May 28, 2020. Fire pull alarm is located on the wall in living room #1.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys, books. There is a crib and changing table. Also observed was a parent's board. LPA observed day care children in living room #2.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 3A40BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
