25 | A planned second announced pre-licensing/ change of location inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli. Met with Applicant, Cynthia Cervantes. Applicant, her husband, her Adult Daughter, Melissa Cervantes who will also be her assistant and one minor child reside in the home. The purpose of today's inspection is to verify that the correction requested was made.
- On the inspection conducted on July 8, 2019, LPA observed an in-ground pool that is fenced with white rod iron fencing that meets Title 22 Regulations. LPA observed that the pool gate was not self-latching/self-closing. LPA will conduct a second prelicesing inspection to ensure the swimming pool gate meets Title 22 Regulations.
LPA observed the following correction during today's inspection:
- LPA observed an in-ground pool that is fenced with white rod iron fencing that meets Title 22 Regulations. LPA observed that the pool gate is self-latching/ self-closing. The swimming pool gate meets Title 22 Regulations.
The home meets the description of a safe and healthy environment for children as described in Chapter 3, Division 12, Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and is adequate for a Large Family Day Care Home (LFDCH). Provisional licensure as a Large Family Day Care Home capacity of 14 children ages under 18 years will be recommended for 90 days pending receipt of the Preventative Health and Safety certification.
