25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Fermin Campos-Jaramillo conducted an unannounced inspection to the home today. LPA met with Beatriz Saldivar, Licensee and explained, the nature of today's inspection to her. Days and hours of operation are Monday to Saturday from 05:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The adults that reside in the home are the Licensee, and her spouse Sergio. Also in the home reside licensee's minor children ages 16, 11, and five years old. There were eleven children in care during today's inspection, including two infants, four school age, and five preschoolers. Certification for CPR and First Aid Card for Licensee and her spouse Sergio are current and will expire on 8/19/23 and 02/01/24 respectively.

LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the home during today's inspection. LPA obtained a copy of the children's roster today and it is current. LPA observed that Licensee has documented a fire drill on 6/07/23. LPA reviewed five children files and are complete including the parent's rights form and the immunization records form.
The Licensee has a working telephone in the home. LPA observed sufficient materials, toys, and play equipment for the day care children. LPA observd the day care area is located at the back of the home and the entrance is by the left side yard. Off limit areas inside are: Four bedrooms, one bathroom, one kitchen and living room, and the attached garage. Off limits areas outside: A small storage shed in the back yard where Licensee keeps some tools. LPA has observed home has a left yard, it is fenced and used as a play yard. LPA observed no bodies of water, stairs or wall heaters.
LPA observed a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher last time serviced on 11/08/22 and at least one working smoke detector. LPA observed the home has a carbon monoxide detector. Licensee stated they have two small dogs in the home, they are kept on the right side yard. Licensee states that there are no weapons in the home. All detergents, cleaning compounds, medications, and other similar items are stored inaccessible to children.
