25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Joe Macias, conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection in response to an unusual incident that the facility self reported to Community Care Licensing (CCL) on May 1, 2023. LPA met with the Lead Teacher Alicia Bushey, and explained the nature of today's inspection to her. Bushey is the staff member in charge in the absence of the Director The purpose of today’s visit is to ensure the facility is in compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations.
This case management inspection was made to inquire about an unusual incident that occurred on April 20, 2023.
During today's visit LPA Macias toured the facility, interviewed staff, reviewed the LIC 624, and obtained copies of pertinent information. LPA Macias reviewed the toileting/ diapering procedure with the staff, and obtained a copy of the diaper log.
As a result of the incident the Director has conducted a classroom training/ meeting on toileting procedures.
No deficiencies cited, exit interview conducted, and a copy of this report was reviewed by the Alicia Bushey.
A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED, POSTED NEAR THE FRONT ENTRANCE TO THE CENTER, AND MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 CONSECUTIVE DAYS.
