25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Fermin Campos-Jaramillo conducted an announced Tele visit via FaceTime for a change of capacity inspection. LPA met with licensee Aracele Alvarado, Days and hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturdays from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The adults that reside in the home are the Licensee, and her spouse Ernesto. Also in the home resides licensee minor 16 years old son. There were seven children in care present today, included one school age, one infant and five preschool age children. Licensee's certifications for CPR and First Aid card is current and will expire on 3/09/22.
LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas of the home during today's tele-inspection. Licensee has documented a fire drill during the last six months. Last fire drill was documented on 8/21/2020
The Licensee has a working telephone in the home. LPA observed sufficient materials, toys, and play equipment for the children in care. A fire inspection clearance was granted on 8/31/2020 by the Noth County Fire Protection. Licensee understands that garage is not approved for chid care use. Off limit areas inside the home are: Three bedrooms, one bathroom, and the garage. LPA observed there are no stairs in the home. LPA observed the home has fenced back yard. Licensee uses the back yard as playground for the children in care. Off limits outdoor areas are: The left side yard and the left side of the back yard. Licensee keeps two dogs in the left side of the back yard. Licensee stated the dogs are vaccinated. LPA observed there are not bodies of water in the home.
LPA observed a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher and working smoke detectors. LPA noticed the fire extinguisher was last serviced on 10/30/2019. LPA observed the home has at least one working carbon monoxide detector. LPA observed there are not wall heaters or a fireplace in the home. The Licensee states that she does not have any weapons in the home. All detergents, cleaning compounds, medications, and other similar items are stored inaccessible to children.
Licensee has in file proof of immunization for pertussis, measles, and influenza vaccine according with the SB792.
