LPA Kevin O'Connell made an unannounced inspection regarding a 1/10/2020 unusual incident report where the Director made a Suspected Child Abuse Report after a child reported some inappropriate touching by a relative to one of her teachers. The Director said that this child had made a few other remarks in the last few months that didn't sound right but not sexual by nature.
The Director held a special training regarding Mandated Reporting procedures the Monday following the reported incident to insure that reportable issues get reported timely.
LPA conducted a record review for the teacher's Mandated Reporter Certificates and all were current except for a new teacher who was hired within the last 90 days. The Director will forward a copy of her Mandated Reporter Certificate to CCL by the end of the week.

Notice of Site Visit to be posted for 30 days from today's visit.
