LPA Kevin O'Connell made an unannounced case management inspection to follow up on an unusual incident.
On 8/13/19 & 8/14/19 a child (C-1) bit another child (C-2) two days in a row during transitioning back inside after play time. (Same scenario both days) C-2 would block the doorway and C-1 bit C-2 in an effort to get through the door.
Staff discussed the incidents with parents. C-1 had attended for just 2 weeks. After discussing, parents of C-1 decided to disenroll C-1 to find a better fit.
LPA discussed the reporting procedures regarding UIR's. LPA noted the need to call CCL and speak/ report the UIR directly to an LPA and then to follow up with a written report within 7 days.

LPA left a copy of Regulation 101212 Reporting Requirements with the Director.
There were no deficiencies cited today.
Notice of Site Visit to be posted for 30 days from today.
