A case management inspection was conducted to the facility by Licensing Program (LPA) Kevin O'Connell in response to an increase of capacity and adding the back yard for child care use. An application and facility sketch were received on 02/23/2022. The licensee is requesting a capacity of 14. A review of staff records indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. The facility is toured inside and outside. The facility’s operating hours are 8:00AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday. The children will use the backyard for outdoor play and it is fully fenced.
The back yard was free of hazards and has a hot tub that is locked on all four sides. It is empty and not hooked up to electricity. There are no other bodies of water on the property.
There are multiple working carbon monoxide/ smoke detectors and a charged fire extinguisher of at least 2A:10 B-C in the home.
Fire Marshal clearance was approval on 3/3/22.

Mandated Reporter Training is current and expires on 3/7/2024. Pediatric CPR and Pediatric First Aid cards expire 1/30/2023.
All licensing reports are public information and must be made available upon request for at least three years.
There were no violations of Title 22 Regulations cited during today's visit.
The increase in capacity to 14 as a Large family Child Care Home and use of the back yard are granted as of today, 3/7/2022.
Notice of Site Visit is to be posted for 30 days from today.
