25 | On Friday, August 20th, 2021, at 11:31am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Blake Morillas met with the Program Coordinator, Cindy Maciel, and Director, Vanessa Alcaraz, for the purpose of a Case Management inspection. No children were present due to the program being closed for the summer.
The first day of school is scheduled to be September 7th with the operating hours of 8:00am to 3:15pm, Monday through Friday, and will follow the local school calendar.
The Program Coordinator submitted plans to modify the rooms it uses for Child Care. The facility will no longer be using Room 42 or the outdoor activity space attached to that room. Instead, they will be moving to Room 8 and using the outdoor space attached to said room. The facility does not wish to alter its current licensed capacity of 24 preschool age children. A Fire Clearance inspection has been completed and received by the Regional Office. The previously issued bathroom waver will remain in effect per request.
The inside areas accessible to children in Room 8 was measured and equal approximately 960 sq. ft., which is sufficient to maintain their licensed capacity of 24 children. There is a drinking fountain in the classroom that the children will use for water. The fenced outdoor area attached to Room 8 was also measured and equals approximately 3,502 sq. ft., which is sufficient to maintain their licensed capacity of 24 children. The facility will utilize water bottles for children when outside and adequate shade was observed during the visit.
LPA provided and discussed current Covid-19 guidelines.
Effective today (8-20-2021) the change in rooms and outdoor area is approved
At 12:25pm, LPA reviewed the report with the Director and an exit interview was conducted. LPA provided a Notice of Site Visit and the Director acknowledges that this notice shall remain posted for 30 days for parental review. The Director's signature on this form acknowledges receipt of this form. |
