25 | On Thursday, September 9th, 2021, at 10:16am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Blake Morillas met with the Director, Morgan Best, for the purpose of a Case Management Inspection to approve a new classroom they will be using for the school year. A Fire Clearance inspection has been conducted by the local jurisdiction and the classroom has been approved. A copy of the Fire Safety Inspection Report has been received by the LPA. There were no children present at the time of the inspection due to it being a staff in-service day.
The program will no longer be using Room 5, and instead be using Rooms 3 and 4. The Facility is not requesting a Change of Capacity and this time an wishes to remain at a licensed capacity of 27 children.
To ensure the licensed capacity could remain the same, Room 4 was remeasured and Room 3 was measured for the first time. Total combined square footage was measured to be approximately 1,126 sq. ft., which is sufficient for the current capacity of 27 children. The outdoor area will remain the same with no changes being made.
Room 3 also has an attached bathroom with 1 toilet and 1 sink. The classroom also has a sink with an attached drinking fountain. There are adequate toys, equipment, and supplies available for the children. Room 4 was reinspected. There is a sink in the classroom as well. The facility will continue to use the bathroom adjacent to Room 4. The adjacent bathroom consist of 4 toilets for children's usage, one stall for Staff and ill child use, and 4 sinks.
As of today, 9-9-2021, Room 3 is approved for use. At 11:00am the report was reviewed with the Director and an exit interview was conducted.
