Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mahnaz (Nancy) Malek conducted a case management inspection of the facility for the purpose of decreasing capacity from 256 preschool children to 232 preschool children by taking off rooms # 17 and 18 off of the license. LPA met with Site Supervisor, Gerardo Soto and the Program Supervisor, Silvia Magalhaes who toured the facility with LPA. Census was taken. Currently the facility is licensed for 256 children in rooms # 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19. The licensee has requested to provide care and supervision for 232 preschool children in rooms 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, and 19 for ages 2 to 5 years old, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Today the total census were 111 preschool children with 17 staff in rooms 10,11, 12, 13, 15, 16, and 19.
A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions.
The Preschool is a Title 5 program that offers full time program.
The facility provides morning snack and afternoon snacks and lunch to children. Children nap in this program. Cots are provided by the facility and bedding are provided by parents which are washed on a weekly basis. The children are dropped off and are singed in and out at the entrance door. The facility has met all the posting requirements.
The indoor activity space measurement for the current requested capacity is as follows:
Room # 10 : 927.91 square feet.
Room # 11: 928.19 square feet
Room # 12: 928.42 square feet
Room # 13: 871.69 square feet
Room # 15: 1189 square feet

Total outdoor activity space measurement is as follows:
Outdoor space is 24492.5 square feet divided 75 sq feet =326.56 (327 children).
Total of sinks: 17 x 15= 255 children
Total of toilets: 14 X 15= 210 children.
Total of urinals: 6
The classrooms are equipped with carbon monoxide detector.

Based on today’s measurements, the sinks and toilets availability, the minimum factor is the total indoor capacity which is enough for 195 children. the request for decreasing capacity will be final reviewed and discussed with management in the Regional Office. The facility will be notified if any additional information is required.

Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platform. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Site Supervisor, Gerardo Soto.
