During the NCC, the licensee agreed to provide proof of current mandated reporter certification for personnel and volunteers working in the daycare. During today’s visit, S3 did not have a current mandated reporter certificate in file. The certificate in file was for a school district. S3 was observed caring for and supervising daycare children (See 809D). Immunization reviewed.

Violations of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, were observed and cited during today's visit: 1596.8662(b)(1) Availability of information regarding detecting and reporting child abuse and neglect; training for mandated reporter who is licensed day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility; proof of completion.
Appeal Rights were discussed. The facility director was provided a copy of their appeal rights (LIC 9058) and their signature on this form acknowledges receipt of these rights. All appeals must be in writing and received by the Regional Office within 15 business days. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
