An Annual required 1 year and Case Management (Licensee initiated) inspection for a change in capacity was conducted at the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Desai, Ketki. LPA observed licensee Ms. Paez, Maria Christina caring for (1 infant and 1 Toddler) during the inspection. Licensee has been a care provider since 2014, qualifying her to be a Large Family child care provider. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 PM. Care and Supervision is provided to children ages 2 months to 10 years old
(Infants to School age)

Licensee was operating within the licensed capacity as specified on license. A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date indicates all facility residents, staff, or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. Currently there are (3) adults (including the licensee) living in the facility.

During today’s inspection, LPA and licensee toured the inside and outside areas identified in the facility sketch as accessible to child care children. Off limits areas are made inaccessible by means of child safety gate, at the entrance of the kitchen, at the end of the stairway leading to the second level of the home and one additional safety gate at the end of the living area (Day care room).

The floor plan was verified. This is a two story town home with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Off limits areas are made inaccessible by means of baby gates. The staircase, entire second level, and kitchen are off limits.

The children use the attached patio as the outdoor play area, and it is completely fenced. The outdoor play area is free from hazards. There is a fireplace in the living room screened by an attached 2 bulletin boards and additional book shelf in front making it inaccessible to children in care.
