Licensee was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.

During the exit interview, the LICENSEE Villa De Valdovinos, Yeimi confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile on 8/20/2024
Based on LPAs observations, record review and interview the following violation was observed Licensee opened the gate of the pool and let go. Gate did not self-latch and licensee pushed the gate closed with her hand. Licensee stated that she has a key lock on the gate and keeps it locked. Gate did not self-latch as this poses as a health and safety risk to children in care. Type A citation is being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, Section CCR102417(g)(5)(A). See the attached LIC 809D.
If the facility receives a Type A violation, the licensee shall post and provide copies of the report to parents/guardians of the children in care at the facility by the next business day and shall provide to the parents/guardians of children newly enrolled at the facility during the next 12 months. In addition, the licensee shall immediately post upon receipt the Proof of Correction for 30 consecutive days and provide a copy to current and enrolling parents. The licensee is to keep Acknowledgement Receipt (LIC 9224) signed by parents in each child’s file. Failure to post Type A reports for 30 days will result in a Civil Penalty of $100.00 |
