25 | Licensing Program Manager Lopez and Licensing Program Analyst Connolly conducted a case management inspection due to facility requesting a room change in the infant program. Facility is currently licensed for 8 infants in Wee Tartan room located in an adjacent building, Suite F, and is moving to room 106 in the main building to be closer to the preschool licensed rooms. The capacity remains the same. The new room was inspected and measured and is adequate for room change. Fire clearance for inspection made 8/20/19 has been received in the licensing office.
Indoor Space for Room 106 total = 302 Sq Ft divided by 35 = 8 Children
Outdoor Space: There is a small outdoor play area behind the classroom and a larger area in the front area of the indoor space for a total of 725 Sq Ft divided by 75 = 9 Children
Facility will be using two potty chairs. There was a sink within arms reach of a changing table.
During today's case management inspection the infant program was toured by the LPM and LPA. Census was taken. There were four infants in care with two attending staff. A review of staff criminal clearance records on this date indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances
Facility is adequate for room change. License, effective this date, will note operating hours: Monday through Friday, 7:20 AM to 4:30 PM in room 106 for ages 6 weeks to 2 years: capacity 8.
No deficiencies were observed during today's inspection. Report was reviewed and discussed with Tammy Pipitone
Notice of Site Visit was posted.
The facility representative was informed that the 'Notice of Site Visit' must be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to post will result in civil penalties of $100.00. The 'Notice of Site Visit' must be posted on or adjacent to the door. |
