Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Desai, Ketki conducted an unannounced Case Management Licensee initiated inspection at the above facility for the purpose of changing the infant capacity by adding a new room.

Currently facility is licensed for 20 infants (6 weeks to 2 years) in room # 1 and 2 .

Facility is now requesting to add one additional room # 3 to Infant license, thereby increasing the capacity to 32 infants in the three assigned rooms.

Facility Director Ms. Tucker, Alicia gave a tour of the facility and the infant rooms were remeasured.

The following was observed in new Infant room # 3
· Age appropriate furniture
· Infant toys and equipment’s.
· Room is well lighted with ventilation.
· Electronic sign in and out (Care connect application)
· CDC Guidelines are being followed.
· There is a changing table with the sink within arms reach and additional 2 sinks in each room.
Changing table has safe padding with an air tight dust bin for dirty diapers.
· The room has a specific napping area where 12 cribs are arranged.
· Room is divided by a plexi-glass divider separating the napping crib area and the play area.
Each crib has a fitted mattress
Additional napping area is in room # 1 also.

On today’s inspection all the three infants’ rooms were measured by the LPA.

Total indoor space: 1889’01 divided by 35= 45.40 (45 children) Capacity requested is 32 infants

The facility has 24 sinks, 18 toilets and one urinal.
Each of the Infant room has three sinks along with the changing tables. Toilet training is provided in the younger preschool classroom and Potty chairs are available in this room. The infants in this three rooms use diapers only.

Outdoor space: Playground is completely enclosed by a fence. The measurement for outdoor playground is 1504 square feet and is enough for 20 children. (Measurement taken in 2014 remain current)
Facility shall request a Waiver for staggered schedule in between infant classrooms to accommodate the requested capacity of 32 infants.

Fire clearance has been approved by Orange County Fire authority approving the requested capacity.

Based on today’s Indoor and Outdoor measurements, sink & toilet availability, center has enough activity space to support the requested capacity of 32 infants (6 weeks to 24 months) in the assigned three rooms (1,2 and 3) Operating hours: Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 6.30 PM.

Exit interview conducted.

Notice of Site Visit was posted. Director was informed that the Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to post it will result in civil penalties of $100.
