32 | Staff files were reviewed, and it was observed that staff members had the required education and experience. All staff had a valid Pediatric CPR/First aid certification. Immunizations were also verified, MMR, TDAP, Influenza and Mandated Reporter Training. Children’s files were reviewed for LIC700, LIC627 and Immunizations, all files were observed to be complete. Infant needs and service plan was observed to be complete and updated.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed, and the center does not provide IMS at this time. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. Exit interview was conducted with Director Ms. Navas. Report was reviewed and discussed. Notice of Site Visit was posted during the visit. Facility representative was informed that the notice of site visit must be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to post will result in civil penalties of $100. Appeal rights provided and explained. The facility representative was provided a copy of their appeal rights (LIC 9058). Director informed that appeals must be addressed to our Regional Manager, Bertha Manzanarez within 15 days of the citation along with proof supporting the appeal.
