Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ketki Desai conducted a in person Case Management Licensee initiated inspection for a change of capacity at the above facility. LPA met with Facility Administrator Ms. Nathalie Franco, who gave a tour of the new classroom (L5-3). There were no children present in the classroom.

On today's inspection the capacity for Preschool is being increased by adding a new classroom (L5-3), this classroom shall be used by Preschool age children (4-5) years old. Preschool room is a big room by itself with 1 toilet and 1 sink.

Measurements of the preschool room (L5-3) is as follows: (L)=23.33 X(W) 23.58= Area 550.12 – 22.50= 527.62 (Total Space = 527.62 Divided by 35= 15 children)

Sinks and Toilet : 1 sink= 15 children / 1 Toilet = 15 children

Based on the measurement of the exiting playground , the total outdoor space area is 7476 square feet divided by 75 = 99 preschool children.

Currently the facility is licensed for 84 preschool age children, including 12 Toddlers and is seeking to increase the capacity by adding 10 preschool age children. Total capacity is 94 children
Based on today's measurements, facility has enough space for the requested capacity of 94 preschool children serving ages 2 years old to 6 years. Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 6.00 PM.

City of Costa Mesa Fire Prevention has granted the Fire clearance for the requested capacity of 94 preschool age children.
