Per staffs, when there is a biting incident, the staff documented what happened, sign the incident report, and notify parents. All interviewed children stated they did not observe or witness any child biting another child. All interviewed children disclosed they like going to this school. LPA Nguyen tried to interview subject child’s parent on three different occasions, however, the parent was not available to talk at the time of the call. Parent stated they would call back, but no return call was ever received by LPA Nguyen. Neither child alleged to be involved in the incident were not available to be interviewed by LPA Nguyen.
LPA Nguyen contacted nine parents by phone and was able to interview three parents. All three interviewed parents stated they like the facility and all staff members are very nice. Interviewed parents also stated they did not have any concern or issue with the facility.
LPA Nguyen ask for the video footage for the incident; the facility representative confirmed that the video is not available since the video record is just available for three days.
Based on the information gathered from LPAs' interviews, there is insufficient evidence to corroborate the allegation. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged lack of supervision resulting in physical altercation between children did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
