25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ketki Desai conducted an on site pre-licensing inspection at the proposed childcare center. LPA met with New Incoming Administrator Ms. Tejeda-Ruiz, Maria along with the current Administrator/Director on site Ms. Villanueva, Monica and toured the site. The applicant has requested to provide care and supervision for 79 Pre-school age children 2 to 6 years of age, Monday through Friday, 6.30 am. to 6.00 PM. in the assigned five classrooms.
This is a change in Ownership.
A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions.
The children shall have access through the main entrance of the facility, due to current pandemic situation, children are received at the entrance by the staff who are present at the reception area, temperatures are checked, hands are sanitized before they are taken to their classrooms. Parents sign them in at the entrance manually, currently outside visitors are not allowed in the facility.
This facility plans to provide Incidental Medical Services – IMS. For IMS information, see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. A Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department.
