On 07/24/2023, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jeremey McClain and Kyrsten Williams met with director Emily Compton to conduct a case management inspection for a capacity increase. During today's visit LPAs measured 7 rooms and additional outdoor space. The facility is requesting a capacity increase from 120 to 144 preschool children ages 2-5 years old.
Indoor Activity Space
LPAs measured the rooms as followed: Classrooms A and B measured 1,046.9 sq. ft each, Classrooms C and D measured 1,028.6 each, Classrooms G and E 1,113.84 sq. ft, and Classroom F measured 860.51 sq ft. In total, all classrooms measured 7,239.1 sq ft, which will accommodate the capacity requested. 17 sinks and 11 toilets were observed. Additional storage and nap equipment were observed. Age appropriate furniture and equipment were observed. The additional room is equipped with a functional carbon monoxide detector.
OUTDOOR SPACE
LPAs measured additional outdoor space to be 4,230 sq. ft. The total outdoor space measures 12,742 sq. ft., which will accommodate the capacity requested. LPAs did not observe any hazards in the outdoor space. Appropriate fencing is in place. Director stated that the additional outdoor space will be used by preschool children only.

A fire clearance for 144 children was obtained on 07/10/2023. Prior to approval, licensing representative must send LPA proof of the additional classroom being completed for use. Once received, the facility will be approved for a capacity of 144 preschool children.

No deficiencies cited during today's inspection. An exit interview was conducted with licensing representative Emily Compton. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and should remain posted for 30 days.
